HISTORY

This is a photograph of a wood engraving of the Hastings foreshore in 1866. The engraver was Walter Hart and the artist was Alfred Clint. The photograph is the home page of the Multimedia Catalogue in the State Library of Victoria. It was purchased by the Hastings-Western Port Historical Society. Library Record Number: 1125017.
