HISTORYThis is Gerry Lake’s jetty at Crib Point. Lake’s boat is on the left and the ‘Alma’ is in the water. Gerry was born in 1928. He fished from an early age and bought and built several boats. He was also a timber cutter and worked as a labourer at the Naval Base during the war.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a wooden boat on the sand, tied to a roughly constructed elevated walkway. Another similar wooden boat is in the water. Land can be seen in the distance.
