HISTORY

This young man is Gerry Lake at age 19 years. Gerry was born in 1928. He is the grandson of James Woolley. He was a fisherman and bought his first boat at age 14 years. He bought and built many boats over the years.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a young man standing with his arms to his sides and a serious look on his face. He has a mop of curly hair. He is wearing a dark coloured high-necked pullover, dark coloured trousers and a wide leather belt. Part of a weatherboard building and a shed can be seen behind the barbed wire fence. Tall trees are on either side of the image.
