HISTORYThis cottage is being moved to the Hastings-Western Port Museum complex on the corner of Herring and Skinner Streets. It was donated by Mr and Mrs Firth to the Hastings-Western Port Historical Society in 1985. The cottage was built by the Stanford family. The back section was built in 1900 and the front in 1905. Some of the people in the photographs are the Society’s president, Mrs Shirley Davies, Harry Firth, Brian Stahl, Mr and Mrs Harry Firth and Jim Houlolian.
DESCRIPTIONThis series of twenty-one photos show a cottage being transported to a new location by a yellow Mack prime mover and trailer. Several people are in attendance.
