HISTORY

This man is Bill Jones from Moorooduc. He is holding the ‘Absalom’ pitsaw. The photographs were taken by Barbara Male and donated by Bill Jones.

DESCRIPTION

The first image shows a man standing in an open shed, posing for a photo. He is holding a large pitsaw in his right hand. He has grey hair and is wearing a dirty jacket and trousers. A trailer with several logs on the tray can be seen behind the man. The second image shows the three pieces of a bullock yoke leaning against the wheel of a green machine. A timber fence is in the background and a brick wall is behind the fence.
