The women are dressed in long formal dressed with crowns on their heads and large bouquets of flowers. The woman at the centre of the group is holding a sceptre. One man is dressed as a judge, another is in a suit and the remainder of the men are dressed as ministers of the church. A pageboy is holding a cushion on the far right-hand side. Large palm fronds are standing behind the group as well on the floor at the front. Large curtains are at the back and sides of the theatre.

This event is at the Hastings Picture Theatre. The pageboy on the right-hand side is Ian Ross. The girl seated on the left-hand side is the daughter of C. Malouf.
