HISTORY

This photograph was taken outside the Hastings Museum before extensions were built. It is a gathering of members and friends of the Shire of Hastings Historical Society. The woman front and centre is Shirley Davies who was the President of the Society. Her mother, Vi McClelland (nee Perrott), is on her left. The partly obscured woman with the dark hair and glasses, directly behind Vi is Nina Lawson (nee Woolley).

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a group of mostly women sitting and looking to the left, obviously watching and listening to someone speak. They are seated outside a timber building. Other people can be seen in the background. The woman sitting front and centre has fair hair and a string of beads around her neck. She is wearing a Hastings-Western Port Historical Society name badge.
