HISTORY

This is one of a collection of Shire of Hastings photographs from the J.T. Riley Collection. Herman Gallus, Doug Thompson, G. Gorrie, Colin Clarke and Jim Riley are some of the men in the photograph.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a group of seven men, standing on grass, all looking at a large sheet of plans. The three men at the front are holding the plans and pointing on the sheet. All men are dressed in white shirts, ties and suits. The man on the far left is also wearing a light coloured overcoat and a hat. Trees are in the background. Typed on a small piece of white paper and glued to the bottom of the image is: “Herman Gallus, Doug Thompson, G. Gorrie, Colin Clarke, Jim Riley”. The photographer’s details are stamped on the back.
