HISTORY

This is Coolart Road which runs from the Frankston-Flinders Road near Somerville through to the Frankston-Flinders Road at Balnarring.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a bitumen road running through the centre of the image and disappearing into the distance. Trees and shrubs are on either side of the road and electricity poles and lines are on the right-hand side. A haze is in the background, possibly caused by smoke. Typed on a small piece of white paper and glued to the top of the photograph is: “Coolart Road - 1964”.
