HISTORY

The main intersecting roads in Somerville are the Frankston-Flinders Road and Eramosa Road East and West. Written on the back of the photo in blue ink is: “Somerville Note (a) Hotel (b) Station St - to Park Land (c) Sydney/George St areas (d) Raymond St.”.

DESCRIPTION

This aerial photograph shows a town with two major roads intersecting. Paddocks surround the township and a shoreline and water is at the top of the photo. Typed in black on a piece of white paper at glued to the top left-hand corner is: “Somerville from the air - Early 1960’s”.
