HISTORY

This is the town of Hastings on the Western Port with Long Island in the background.

DESCRIPTION

This aerial photograph shows a town with surrounding paddocks in the foreground and a shoreline, water and sky in the top half of the photograph. A jetty and boats can be seen in the bay. The following is typed in black on a piece of white paper and glued to the bottom of the photograph: “Hastings Township & Bight, Long Island & Westernport Bay - 1965”.
