This roadworks is in Robertson Street, Hastings.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows the construction of a street running in front of a white cottage. The street is gravel and wooden pegs mark out the site. A pipe runs under the street and into a ditch on the other side. There is an arm chair sitting on the two posted verandah of the cottage. The paddock beside the cottage is heavily timbered. Tall electricity poles run along the right-hand side of the street and into the distance. Typed in black on a piece of white paper and glued to the bottom right-hand corner of the photograph is: “Robertson Street Hastings - Construction”.
