HISTORYThis is an early photograph of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church on the corner of Church and King Streets, Hastings. The church was built in 1884 and was one of the early churches to be erected in Hastings. Printed in black on the back is: “POST CARD Holy Trinity Anglican Church - Hastings 1907”. The following is written in black biro:”Dear David Many thanks for your help on behalf of the Holy Trinity family Don Johnston”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows two timber buildings behind a post and rail fence. The building on the right is a church with a narthex and a bell tower. Two tall pine trees stand between the fence and the buildings. The following is printed in white at the bottom: “Eng. Church HASTINGS”. Written in black in the bottom right-hand corner is: “23-9-07 HS93”.
