HISTORY

This was Mrs Darroch’s drapery shop about 1950 and then became Michael Wallis bait and tackle shop around the 1970s. It was situated in Marine Parade, opposite the Hotel.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a tiny pink shop front with ‘Organic Fruit + Veg’ painted on the front of the two-posted verandah. Pink and yellow flowers are painted on the verandah posts. The shop has a small front door and a large window with a security screen. A wire fence is on the left and a wooden fence on the right of the shop. A street is in the foreground and a large bushy tree is in the background surrounding the building.
