HISTORY

These sailors at the Crib Point Railway station are from the Australian Navel Base, HMAS Cerberus. The following is written in black biro on the back of the sketch: “Reprint Crib Point Station, Navy boys from HMAS Cerebus on leave.”.

DESCRIPTION

This copy of a sketch shows a stationery train at a railway station. Several sailors with their duffle bags are on the platform. Several more sailors can be seen arriving at the station. A pole with the sign “Crib Point” is on the platform beside a fence. The following is printed at the bottom left-hand side of the sketch: “from Crib Point”. The artists signature is written on the bottom right-hand side of the sketch.
