HISTORY

These men are from the C.F.A. in Hastings. The man on the left is Noel Caldwell Lawyer. The man second from the right is Bob Mayne. The Hastings Fire Brigade formed in 1942. Their first premises were in a small building on the foreshore at Hastings, then premises in King Street, built in 1946 and then from 2002 to their present location in High Street, Hastings.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows four men standing inside a building in front of a motor vehicle. Three of the men are wearing uniforms. The man on the far left is dressed in a light coloured suit, white shirt and tie. He is making a presentation to the man, second from the right.
