HISTORY

This is the Hastings Day parade for 2005. The parade is marching down High Street, Hastings towards the bay. The navy band is from HMAS Cerberus. The pipe band is the Frankston RSL Pipe Band. The man playing the piping instrument is Ray Windsor. A sign “1883 Benz Replica the world’s first petrol car” is attached to the front of the motor vehicle.

DESCRIPTION

These five images show a street parade with marching bands, an early three-wheeled motor vehicle and a man playing a musical instrument. One of the bands is a navy band and the other a pipe band. A group following the pipe band is holding a banner which reads: “Hastings Junior Fire Brigade”.
