HISTORY

This group of children are in Grades 5 to 7 at the Hastings Primary State School.

DESCRIPTION

This school photo shows a group of thirty-eight primary school children standing and sitting in four rows, posing for a photo. There are ten boys standing in the back row, nine girls standing in the second back row, ten girls and boys sitting in the second front row and nine boys sitting cross-legged on the ground in the front row. One boy is holding a small blackboard which reads: “Hastings School 1098 1937 Grades V to VIII”. Large trees are in the background.
