HISTORY

These sixteen photos show various stages of the construction of B.P. Refinery on the Western Port at Crib Point. One of the photos shows Mr Jim Riley, the Hastings Shire Engineer, inspecting a tank construction. Some of the landmarks named are Sandstone Island, Golden Point and Long Island. One of the aerial photos shows the town and jetty of Hastings.

DESCRIPTION

Most of these sixteen photos are taken from the air. They show a bay, an industrial construction site, a town and a jetty. They are housed in a Ilford Films folder which gives pointers for taking photos, including a lens exposure guide.
