HISTORY

This was the book launch of “The Summer Survey Log of the Lady Nelson 1801 - 1802 John Murray” by Valda Cole. The book was published by Hastings-Western Port Historical Society Inc. The launch was held at the Dromana & District Historical Society at Dromana. The president of the Hastings-Western Port Historical Society Inc, Shirley Davies and the president of the Dromana & District Historical Society, Sandy Christie were among the speakers. Other people attending the launch were: Valda Cole, Susan Priestley, Professor Western Bate, Janice Bate, Bishop John Wilson, Hon. Ron Bowden, Bill Goodram and Peter Gore.
