HISTORY

The man, dressed in a dark coloured suit, standing on the footpath on the far right (foreground) is Tom Roper. The taxi driver is Bob Laity.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a light coloured taxi parked on the side of a street in front of a group of seven men. A sign “Taxi Transit” is mounted on the roof of the vehicle and painted across the bonnet. “Western Port Marina Hastings Victoria” is painted on the driver’s side door. The Victorian number plate of the vehicle is “TC-8396”. A large display board is standing beside the footpath and the men are all smiling and looking at the taxi. A building with large windows is in the background.
