HISTORYThis is the occasion of the Hastings Fire Brigade Debutante Ball. The names of the debs and their partners are as follows: men in the back row: Ron Benton, Len Gibson, John Spence, Ivan Weibrecht, John Balcke, Ken Gibson, Stewart Watt, Jack Cronin, Graeme Street, Max Christie and Doug Harle.
Debs standing: ....?...., Shirley Hore, Valma Lennox, Janet Reid, Joan Lothian and Nita Jones.
Debs sitting: Greta Perrott, Nola Redman, Rita Paganoni, Jean Crosbie, Shiela Mirabella, Florence Mirabella and Dawn French. Harry Gibson is sitting on the far left and Norm Gowns is sitting on the far right. The small girl sitting on the floor on the left is the bakers daughter and the other girl is Sandra Timms.
