HISTORY

This is Richard and Eliza Ann Davis and their children. Their names are as follows: (l to r): back row: Edna Elizabeth; Frederick Lewis; Mary Louisa ”Lou”. Second row: Elizabeth Sarah “Lyall”; Richard; Eliza Ann; Benjamin and Pearl Jemima seated on the ground. Richard and Eliza were married in 1888. More information about this family can be seen in the book “Hastings - People and Places IV” published by Hastings-Western Port Historical Society Inc. p. 55.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a family group posing for a photo. There are two women and one man standing, Two women and two men sitting on chairs and a girl sitting on the floor. They are all young except for the couple sitting at the centre of the image. They are very well dressed, the men all wearing three piece suits. Part of a weather board building and a climbing plant are behind the group.
