HISTORY

The older woman is Mrs Thomson with her daughters Ruby and Florrie. The following is written in black pen on the back of the postcard: “Sincerely Yours Mrs Thomson Ruby & Florrie 1918”. The following is stamped on the back: “Hooper’s Studio 128 Rundle St Adelaide POST CARD CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS ONLY”.

DESCRIPTION

This postcard is a portrait showing the top half of three women, one elderly and two young. They are beautifully dressed. The elderly woman has a white lace collar on her dark coloured embroidered dress. The two young women are wearing light coloured jackets with large collars. They are all looking in a different direction.
