HISTORYThis is the wedding of Lilian Barbara Jack, daughter of Alex Jack and Frederick Charles Perrott (1879-1954), son of Frederick George (known as George) and Alice Maud Hardingham. They were married in 1911 and had two daughters, Lilian Mavis and Joyce. ‘George’ was a butcher before becoming an orchardist.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a bride and groom posing for an official photo in a photographer’s studio. The bride’s dress has a very high neck, long sleeves, pin tucking on the bodice and lace inserts. She is wearing gloves. She has tiny flowers on her head dress and a three quarter length veil. The groom is wearing a pin striped suit, white vest and a white bow tie at his high collar. His left arm is across his chest.
