This man’s identity is not known but the photograph comes from the Mary Oliver Collection. The following is printed on the back: “9169 Velox Kodak Print”.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a man, dressed in a navel uniform, standing beside the railing of a ship. His uniform consists of white shirt, shorts, hat and long socks. The ocean is behind him and land can be seen in the far background.
