HISTORYThis is the Davis Family and the photo was taken at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church Hastings to celebrate the Golden Wedding Anniversary of the older couple, Richard Davis and Eliza Ann Davis (nee Lewis). The couple were married in 1888. They are surrounded by their six children. Back row: l to r: Edna; Mary Louisa known as Louie (eldest child); Frederick Lewis (3rd child). Centre row: Elizabeth Sarah known as Lyall; Richard and Eliza; Ben Shersby (2nd child). Pearl Jemima, the youngest child, is sitting at the front. This photo comes from the Gwen Bickley Collection.
