HISTORY

This man is Ashton Woolley. He was born in 1845 in Newton Street, Hyde, England and died in Crib Point, Victoria in 1937. The Woolley family arrived in Melbourne in 1853 on the ship “Prins Hendrik”. Ashton married Cecilia Carstairs on 27/02/1871 at Frankston, Victoria, They had the following seven children: James (1871 - 1957); Albert (1873 - 1894); Agnes (1876 - 1953); Annie (1882 - 1956); Ashton (1883 - 1944); John (Jock) (1885 - 1981) and William Thomas (1889 - 1968).

DESCRIPTION
