HISTORY

These goblets were placed into the time capsule that the Shire of Hastings and HMAS Cerberus put into the ground in 1986 and retrieved in 2011.

DESCRIPTION

Two pewter goblets with narrow stems and a straight sided cup and slightly flared lip. There is a band of ivy leave decoration around the top of the goblets. There is a enamelled medallion on both cups depicting the Shire of Hastings emblem and the year 1960.
