First owner, was the Rev James Caldwell, 1875, in the 1920’s opened as the ‘Andrew Kerr Memorial Home for Children’, this home was donated to the Church of England Trust Corp as a Memorial to Sergeant Andrew Kerr killed in France, at the present time it is the Andrew Kerr Aged Care Complex
