Owner Richard Shotton J.P. who described himself as ‘a native of London and a freeman’ and arrived in the colony 1856, he was very active in the Mornington St Peter’s Church and Shotton Road on the south of the property is named after him, the home was built approximately 1879 Photograph came with handwritten piece of paper, registered in new book only
