HISTORY

The owners of the building were Thomas and Sarah Allchin c1875, operated as the Oriental Bank then the Colonial Bank of Australasia and Asia and in 1890 the bank moved to their new premises opposite, the Colonial Bank merged with The National Bank in 1918

DESCRIPTION

A two storey corner brick building five upper windows four lower windows and doorway on corner with arches two chimneys fence and street lamp in front smaller buildings to left and right altered over time
