HISTORY

The inscription on the plaque reads: “Park Features - In 1983 the Mornington Shire Council resolved to undertake a staged redevelopment to create local employment and enhance the area. The pathways, lighting and landscaping are the product of Council’s initiative on behalf of the people of Mornington. The works were continued with State and Federal Government Employment Funding.”
