The house was built by Thomas Cogger Allchin, pioneer Mornington settler, builder, storekeeper and brickmaker other owners were Harry Sargood, and The Social Welfare Dept 1957-1977 who established a childrens' home

DESCRIPTION

A side view of Sutton Grange, the house is two storey with a one level concave roof, verandah abutting the square tower the main roof is hipped, established lawns and gardens
