HISTORY

First owner Richard Grice 1862, by 1863 another larger house had been added, this is thought to be the first stage of the current complex, after various owners, Norman Myer acquired it as a convalescent home for Myer
employees in 1946

DESCRIPTION

A pictureseque Gothic revival complex, asymmetrically composed with a tower over the main entrance, the house has patterned slate rooves with decorated gable ends and an encircling verandah, detailed with depressed arches and quatre-foil patterning, castellated bay window and detailing of the tower
