HISTORY

This site was acquired by Alex B. Balcombe, Edward Lintott and Harley Goodall (church trustees) in 1860 for
70 pounds from John and Rebecca Armstrong
Built by contractor William Glover, the bricks were made locally, the church opened 19 May 1861 with a service by the first vicar, Rev James Glover

DESCRIPTION

A gabled simple Decorated Gothic Revival brick church with corner buttressing and a large west window, the parapeted porch appears to have been added at an early date
