The Home previously known as 'Sunnyside'
A bequest by owners Elizabeth Hannon and Patrick Lawler provided the basis for establishing a country training centre for delinquent boys, which aimed to expose them to rural life

DESCRIPTION

The original buildings are Gothic Revival in style, using cemented brick construction, but extensive alterations and additions were carried out for the ‘Morning Star Boys’ Home
