HISTORY

One of the most significant events in the Club’s history was the boating tragedy in 1892, when 15 of the town’s young men drowned whilst returning by boat from a football match which was held at Mordialloc
The Captain Tom Coxhell due to sea sickness gave up his seat to George Milne for the return journey, he lived until 1957 when he died at the age of 92 years
