HISTORY

Various scenes of the Mount Martha coast in the 1920s and 1930s. These images were taken on glass slide during the 1920’s and 30’s by Wal Steer.

1198.1- Creek with bridge in the background, 1198.2 - Coastal view of Mt Martha with sea in background and horse, person and cart in mid foreground, 1198.3 - Beach scene with rocky outcrop in foreground with sea in background, 1198.4 - Coastal scene with cliff and rocky beach on left hand side and sea on the right, 1198.5 - Coastal scene with rocky cliffs on the right hand side and sea on the left, with woman dressed in white and standing on the rocky beach.
