HISTORY

This is the Railway House where the railway keeper lived. It was demolished the late 1990s. The house was the residence of builder J.D. Grover and probably built in 1881. The property became a “railway house” by the necessity of the need to acquire it when the railway came to Mornington.

Victorian brick house painted white. Red painted corrugated iron roof, bow window at right, 2 chimneys, wire and wood fence in run down condition
