HISTORY

This is the Railway House where the railway keeper lived. It was demolished the late 1990s. The house was the residence of builder J.D. Grover and probably built in 1881. The property became a “railway house” by the necessity of the need to acquire it when the railway came to Mornington.

DESCRIPTION

Rear view of weather board building with a rusted corrugated iron roof, there is a more substantial stone building in front of the weather board building, and long green grass surrounds both buildings.
