HISTORY

This is a W type carriage which were wooden passenger carriages used on the railways of Victoria. The image of this carriage was taken at the Mornington Railway station.

DESCRIPTION

A dark red railway carriage with white lettering. The lettering states “Mornington” and is numbered “27 BU”. Positioned stationery at the Railway Station presumably at Mornington, prior to the Stations demolition.
