HISTORY

Flinders made his first survey of Port Phillip Bay on April 29th, 1802. He stood on Schnapper Point and made his first survey from that point.

DESCRIPTION

This is a photograph of a postcard. It shows two gentleman wearing suits and hats, sitting on a bench, on the right side of the image. They are on the top of the embankment sloping down to the Bay. It shows some Ti Tree with heavy shadows suggesting a sunny day.
