HISTORY

The Woollen Mills were situated in Alfred Street, Mornington. The shed was between Albert and Queen Street on the L.H.S facing Queen Street. A Mr & Mrs McAllister of 9 Shelley Street had some connection to the Woollen Mills or Gut Factory, this could have been called Union Gut Factory.
The women in the photo are named as: Doreen Mansen nee Goodall, Ethel Young nee Laurie, ?Gwen Grant, and Ann Bright.
