HISTORYThe entrances to the park are built from local brown stone, and the recently renovated Band Pavilion on the western boundary were built in 1932 to give the unemployed work during the Depression. Near the entrance are an interpretive panel and a flagpole surrounded by bollards with small plaques at the base, both of which note aspects of the Park’s history.
