HISTORY

The house was built next to the old Glengala 1 for Herbert Downard, son of Alfred, after his marriage to Eileen Edwards in 1916. The old house was demolished in 1950 and Glengala 2 burned down in the 1960s.

DESCRIPTION

Painted weather board house with a window on each side of the main door. On the left is a small enclosed sleepout with a door on to the front verandah. It has a skillion roof of corrugated iron.
