HISTORY

Competitions between regional Fire Brigades were held regularly over many years and rotated annually around the various towns. When in Mornington they were held on the training track in Mornington Park. This image is of This series of photographs was probably taken in the post war years.

DESCRIPTION

A fire hose reel is on the Mornington Park training track. It is being pulled along by a man in harness between the wheels. There are cypress trees in the background and onlookers are gathered in groups beside the track.
