HISTORYConstruction date of fountain is not known. As the water to the fountain was turned off in the early 2000s for reason of a drought, this is a significant photograph of the functioning fountain.
DESCRIPTIONThis is a frontal view of a fountain at one end of a circular brown stone wall. A low jet of water falls on to a platform creating the effect of a waterfall. The remainder of the enclosed ground is covered in shallow water. There is no visible outlet for the water. There is a cypress tree on either side between the stone wall and the sea. A white poat and rail fence stands between the edge of the park and the sea which appears in the background. Several cars are parked near the fence.
