The house sits on a simple, raised grassed area with several shrubs and a small eucalypt which is close to the street. The property is partially fenced on the right.

HISTORY

The house ‘Tarfayah’ in Albert Street was originally the home of Dr James Louis Edgeworth Somers who was in medical practice in Mornington from 1893 to 1938. He was an esteemed member of the Mornington and wider Peninsula communities. He lost a son in the First World War.
