HISTORY

Mother’s Beach next to the Yacht Club has been the scene of many similar events in the past.
Boats which have been moored between the pier and the beach for protection are not safe from severe storms, and many have been blown up on the beach in the past.

DESCRIPTION

Stormy beach scene showing white water waves, and yachts being blown sideways,some wrecked boats on the beach, and clumps of seaweed washed up. Three people in a group on the beach appear to be looking at something one of them is holding. In the middle right of the photo is the shed with Boats for Hire painted on the roof.
